Making a sacrifice involves giving up something that you love for something you love even more.
For more than five years, there have been people in the U.S. military and the supporting administrative structures of war that have been making sacrifices in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some of them (over 4,000) have paid the ultimate sacrifice with their life.
