Back To School Bash---Still Time To Register!

All children 4 years  and older are invited to join us for our Back To School Bash/Parents Night Out Friday, 8/20, from 6:30-9:30. We will show the movie "The G-Force" rated PG. We will also have tiime to play board games and do crafts. The cost for this event is $20 for the first child and $5 for additional children. Dinner will not be served but light snacks will be provided.  Invite your friends and bring your pillow, something comfy to lie on to watch the movie, and your favorite board game to play with your friends. Promotion Sunday--August 22nd!

We hope everyone will join us for Promotion Sunday on August 22nd. We will begin a new year of Christian Education and look forward to spending a year of being a part of God's Team! All children pre-school thru 5th grade will need to fill out a registration card for the new school year. Stop by our registration table in the church narthex on Aug. 22nd to get your registration card and to address any questions you might have about children's Sunday school at Aldersgate.

We will present Bibles to all children entering the 3rd grade at our 8:45 worship service on the 22nd. Please contact Cindy Carlisle at cindy.carlisle1@verizon.net to reserve a Bible for your 3rd grader. 

AUMC is pleased to announce that we have a new editor for our newsletter!  We are pleased to welcome Denise Guidry, who has graciously volunteered to take on this position.

We also extend our sincerest gratitude to Julie Nors for the 5 years she previously served as our editor, and for the wonderful job she did on behalf of AUMC.
