Cathy Rogers
Youth Minister Phone: 972-492-9393 x101 E-mail: cathy.rogers@aldersgatecarrollton.org
Cathy Rogers answered the call to become Aldersgate's youth minister in the summer of 2003. She and her sister Tess are both members of Aldersgate, and Cathy served as a Senior High Youth Sunday School teacher for more than a year before joining the church staff. She completed coursework for certification from Perkins School of Youth Ministry in January 2007. She hopes to help the youth grow in their own spirituality and becoming disciples of Christ in service to others, and help them have fun doing it!
Originally from North Louisiana, Cathy was active in her church growing up, participating in Vacation Bible School as a child and as a leader, as well as in the Youth Choir. She later led the 3rd-5th grade Children's Choir. In 1987 Cathy moved to the Dallas area where she continued her career in travel and business management. She became active in the community as a member and President in Rotary International and in the Spence Middle School Corporate Community Council. Cathy was always looking for ways to stay involved working with youth.
Currently, Cathy also works part-time as a Sales Manager for Willow Music, Inc., which creates and distributes instrumental ambient and relaxation music.
